Reflect: The grace of God has nothing to do with our work, but simply from the goodness and kindness of God our Savior and His own mercy. Why is it difficult for our generation to understand salvation without work?
Prayer: Thank God for giving us a new meaning of good work - Not to save ourselves but others and also glorify God.

Reflect: We receive no grace if we do not have faith in Jesus. What does the grace of God through the scripture do to our hearts if we do not have faith in Jesus?

Reflect: The scripture today says that for those of us who are perishing, the Word of the cross is folly. But to us, it is the power of God. Can we see how it reflects what we believe: Faith alone; Grace alone; Scripture alone?
Prayer: We thank God for the whole package of salvational gift - His Word, grace, and faith, so we can always see His Word not only as wisdom, but also power, and peace.
