Reflect: The perfection of God’s creation was so good that even God Himself cannot do anything to to make it better,and He gave humans the responsibility to take care of all of them. Can we also entrust everything we have to God?

Reflect: There are speculations of who actually wrote the book of Hebrews. However,what it says in the last chapter still applies to us 2000 years later. How does it compare to the nameless God,or ‘I AM’,that Moses talked to in Exodus 3?

Reflect: Deuteronomy is a book for the 2nd generation of the Hebrews before they entered the promised land. Here Moses taught the same lesson again,but to the descendants the commandments,and he emphasized greatly on passing the knowledge to the future generations. How should we do the same?

Reflect: God will not leave us or forsake us. But why do people say God is not here when things don’t go the way they want?

Reflect: God is gracious. By looking at the pleading of Abraham for Lot,we can tell that God will save His people. But it’s also sad that there was not even ten righteous in Sodom. How many righteous in our neighborhood now? Is it enough? But is that a right question to ask?
Prayer: Ask God for strength and encourage to spread the good news of Jesus so that others can be counted as righteous through their faith in Jesus alone.

Reflect: Sometimes,we hate to hear the truth. But the truth is,we are sinners,and we need forgiveness. Without forgiveness,we are doomed. Do you truly believe Jesus has died for your sins?
Prayer: Ask God to strengthen our faith that we are saved and,through our baptism,believe our name is indeed in the book of life because of Jesus.

Reflect: What we have is from God. But somehow when it’s taken away,we hate God for it. Why? What can we do so it won’t happen to us?

Reflect: Jesus remained faithful before His eventual sacrifice on the cross. Can we also be faithful when it comes to His ministry? How often do we walk away because of hardship or inconvenience?
Prayer: Ask God for forgiveness if we had ever walked away from His ministry because of comfort,and ask God for a second chance to serve Him.
