Reflect: What Stephen said was true,but he was martyred because of the hardened hearts of many. Has there been a time that your heart was hardened,and you did not realize it until afterwards?
Prayer: Ask God for forgiveness for the times when our heart was hardened,and ask God to keep our hearts softened.

Reflect: Money can perish,and when our heart is filled with money,our heart is not right before God. What can we do to purify our hearts?
Prayer: Thank God for everything He’s provided,and ask God to help us not to focus solely on materialism that are given,but our relationship with Jesus.

Reflect: In a most random way,God used Philip to talk to a stranger who may have ended up changing the whole nation,as the almost 70% of Ethopians today are Christians. Would you be ready to be used by God in the most unexpected way?
Prayer: Ask God to strengthen our faith and teach us so that when it is time,we will be ready to serve.

Reflect: This is a story from the Bible that God wants us to see what He means by baptizing all nations. Many churches are starting to be not only multi-lingual but also multi-cultural. How does it make you feel as a Christian? Can you worship God with someone who does not speak your language?

Reflect: Apostles were being prosecuted. But they were not stopping,even after the death of their very own,James. The threats,whether it is death or beating,did not hold them back. What made them so strong and persistent?

Reflect: The danger of pride and the consequence due to pride showed in the the death of Herod. How is this a warning to us?
Prayer: Ask God to help us to be humble and respectful to one another.

Reflect: For a time’ is what Paul said to the magician. The punishment would not last for him. It sounded more like a warning. Have you experienced these warning so you can avoid suffering from the eternal punishing?

Reflect: Paul and Barnabas,like Stephen,preached the Word,but the outcome was different. But the difference was the audiences. These were gentiles. How does this passage encourage you as an evangelist who is called to go disciple all nations?

Reflect: For many of us who live in Massachusetts,Northeaster is no news. Have we ever faced a northeaster in our Christian journey that we feel that all hope is lost?
Prayer: Thank God for always being there for us and saving us.

Reflect: God finds way to help those in need in the most mysterious way. The journey that was almost disastrous turned out to be a blessing. Paul was being faithful,and his faith in Christ affected others around him. How do you see the importance of being faithful in God despite of desperate situations?
