Reflect: It may seem that Jesus needed to be with us because we’ve sinned.  But Jesus would not need to go to the sinful world to be with us if we did not sin.  Why?
Prayer: Thank God for never giving up on us by sending His Son to reconcile a God-man relationship.
Bible Verse Memory: Isaiah 7:14 (ESV) — 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,and shall call his name Immanuel.

Bible Verse Memory: Malachi 3:10 (ESV) — 10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts,if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

Reflect: ‘Seeing is believing’ does not really apply here.  Not only the faith of Bartimaeus was not affected by his blindness and those who told him to be quiet,he screamed out for Jesus all the more.  What can we learn from the blind beggar, who was not only handicapped but also discriminated?

Reflect: Can we be anxious and have faith in God? Apparently so! Everything comes together.  We believe in God,but not enough so we are anxious.  Then we ask for faith, and God,who always keep His promises, would say to us,‘Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.’  How does this message comfort us today?
Prayer: Thank God for His love and care, and share with another brother and sister how God gives us comfort today!
