Deaconess Margaret Ruehle

Deaconess Margaret was born in New Haven Connecticut, and grew up in Fishkill, NY. Margaret was blessed to attend a Christian school through third grade and then to be homeschooled through high school graduation. The homeschooling environment especially gave her many opportunities to have a very active church life and to help out families who needed assistance during hours that children in a regular school setting would not be able to. Margaret has been an LCMS member ever since her baptism as a baby and was raised by a wonderful mother and father and has a younger brother by 11 years.

Margaret completed her Master of Arts Leading to Deaconess Certification from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2016. Prior to her seminary studies she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major of theatre and theology from Concordia University Nebraska (Seward, NE).

Deaconess Margaret has been with Wollaston Lutheran Church for a year now, running various children’s programs such as Sunday school, movie nights, children’s messages, and lessons/care during fellowships. She has also assisted with confirmation and Vacation Bible School. Deaconess Margaret is also a part time teacher at Wollaston Child Care Center. Deaconess Margaret has plans for even more programs to come in the future!
